Mission
 |
The realities of today's society may deprive many kids of a significant adult role model. Poverty, isolation, high drop-out rates, and delinquency are related phenomena. Mentoring can allow these kids, often left to their own devices, to rely on a role model and _ develop their full academic, personal and social potential. |
Founded in 1975, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Montreal perseveres in its mission to pair up mentors with children who need a significant presence in their life. Positive_ mentoring relationships clearly foster the harmonious development of these youths.
By focusing our efforts with other organizations, we promote healthy and safe environments for our kids. The close collaboration between our employees and volunteers is essential in providing our services. We must maintain the highest standards possible in order to obtain positive results for children and their families. We must also reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
